I think that financial math expertise is the one of the main things to look for when you’re choosing an accounting technician to work with. The other traits would include integrity and the ability to be flexible enough to work with the needs of my business and the changing economy that it works in.
I guess you could say that although financial math expertise is a plus – it’s also pretty much a given. It’s the adaptability that can sometimes be tough to find. This is why I made sure to sit down with my potential accounting tech and see what type of person that I would be dealing with on a regular working basis.
